ACM and Board Member Education



ACM Community Management feels that an educated Board of Directors is an effective Board of Directors. So we have made a commitment to the betterment of our Boards by providing and encouraging education and training.  These opportunities come in many forms and in many venues.


The field of property management is a fluid and ever-changing arena, as can recently be attested to with the Palm versus 2800 court decision, and Board members need to be aware of and accepting of these changes.  How can they be prepared for what is out there now and for what lies ahead?

ACM provides quarterly seminars given by professionals in the property management field, including some of our own licensed managers and senior staff.  These seminars are held in various areas of our market to give each Board the opportunity of taking advantage of these programs.  We also write articles in trade publications and participate in CAI and ACTHA trade shows and events. Joining these organizations and actively participating in what they have to offer compliments the offerings from ACM. 

ACM is also glad to customize educational sessions and bring them to your location.

As we all know, learning is a life-long endeavor and ACM is filling the need in property management education.

In addition to having access to the Resident benefits, as a Board Member you will have access to unique “Board Only” features such as, access to Board Meeting Packets, Association Financials, Vendor Contracts and monthly financial statement.  As a board member, you also have the ability to view resident Information including contact information, status of violation, work order requests and account balances. Furthermore you have the option to create Alerts for all residents to view. You can update and create Calendar events, and participate in Board Member only discussion boards.

Employee Spotlight- Donald Franzese



ACM Community Management is pleased to spotlight Don Franzese this month. Don is the Chief Financial Officer for ACM Community Management. He provides financial and operational support for the communities we manage.  Don is also responsible for accounting procedures and controls, the analysis of capital spending budgets, operating cost controls, forecasting, financial reporting, AP, AR, and cash flow. 

Don, who holds his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Southern Maine University, is a proven financial executive/leader who is passionate, self-motivated, results-oriented and steady in the midst of turmoil.  Don’s leadership style combines integrity and collaboration/teamwork to create operational success for ACM Community Management and all of our communities.  He is a financial partner with a wide range of financial experience.

Don has been with ACM Community Management since 2010 and brings experience from the property management, investing, automotive rental and insurance industries.  Don is also a licensed Insurance Broker and a licensed Public Utility Broker. 

Don is always busy working for the betterment of our communities and making sure that their financial assets are well reported and protected.  But, he is never too busy to talk to a current client, a future client or an ACM TEAM member.
